Job SummaryThe Grill Cook position at Nick and Stef's Steakhouse is a fantastic opportunity for a culinary professional to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food to our guests' orders.In this role, you will work closely with our team of experienced chefs and cooks to ensure that every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our high standards of quality and presentation.Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including meats, vegetables, and sauces.
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure that dishes are prepared correctly and to the highest standards.
• Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth service.
• Clean and maintain a clean and safe working environment.Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 30 pounds or more, and move rapidly in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Benefits
