Pay rate: $22-$25 Hourly, Full time position Higher pay offered for proven prior mortgage loan servicing experience. (Not loan origination or loan closing experience) Position Responsibilities: -- Answer inbound calls regarding mortgage loans. -- Accurately document information into company software. -- Assist borrowers with Check-by-Phone Payments -- Review payment histories. -- Explain escrow disclosure statements. -- Perform office duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, & abilities: -- Interact with callers showing sensitivity, tact, and professionalism. -- Communicate clearly, listen concisely, and effectively. -- Read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collection laws, rules, regulations and company policies and procedures (FDCPA & CFPB). -- Basic math skills -- Ability to analyze/resolve problems and adapt to change. -- Proper phone etiquette. -- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions. -- Ability to analyze/resolve problems and adapt to change. -- Solid vocabulary, math, and multi-tasking skills. -- Fluency in English, including business level verbal and written communication skills. -- Basic computer skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm. Additional Information: -- Bank experience a plus -- Mortgage experience a plus -- Bilingual a plus -- Call Center experience preferred. -- Ability to pass a background check. -- Reliable transportation.
